I can remember a couple of years back when I had a poor credit score, and more issues on my report than I care to remember. I had no clue on how to build credit. Here I was with a credit history in the low 500’s and nobody would approve me for anything, without ripping my head off with high interest rates. Thankfully though I had a background working with credit, and that forced me to start to take a deeper look into how to build credit. I need to share with you my story and how my credit has bounced back.

In the current economic climate, when a small firm has been supplying services or items to a large firm on many occasions, it may be a surprise when their last invoice has not been settled by the agreed last authorisation for payment date. If the large firm has kept up a good clearance record in the past then the small firm may feel that they have a good enough working relationship that they don’t want to mess up by going right into Debt collection strategies and firing off Debt collection letters. It can be tough to know what to do when a large organisation is late in settling the latest bill for projects done or products supplied by a small organisation. The small organisation might have done projects for the large organisation many times and expects to be paid on time as before, but this might be a troublesome time for the large organisation, especially if they are also waiting for unpaid invoices from even larger enterprises.
Instead of resorting to Debt collection processes at once, the small organisation might well want to think about the relationship they have craftedwith the large organisation, as jumping in too soon with threatening Debt collection letters could so easily ruin that carefully crafted relationship.
