Theme: Gated Private Community - Perfecting Safety And Comfort
February 27, 2009There are many people in the US today who look at the gated private community as a perfect residential option. Since the turn of the century, more than 8 million US citizens have opted for these gated communities. Perhaps these gated communities have never been more popular than they are today – actually now according to statistics, one out of every 8 people in the US are staying in these communities. But these communities are nothing new – they have been around since the 19th century, and they are also often referred to as guard-gated communities.
The property value of such a community is often very high and because of this they are great low-risk investment opportunities as well. Golf lovers, in particular, find these communities even more attractive because often they are located very near to a golf course. The quality of living at these places is very high and these communities are maintained by the community members themselves.
A gated private community is not only luxurious but also safe and they are often made by a specific Homeowner’s Association. Property owners report all maintenance problems to the Association, which also looks after law-enforcement and money-collecting matters among others. Gated communities are however costly, with prices being almost always in excess of $250,000. Those who want to show off their prestige and also lead a great lifestyle opt for these communities. On the other hand, you will find a few communities that cost less.
Security and privacy is of prime concern in these communities and that is why there are security guards and gadgets all meant to uphold the privacy of the residents. Security guards, electronic devices and unique identification passes make them virtual fortresses. Anyone not carrying a valid entry pass is not allowed entrance into these communities by the guards who are posted at the gates. Knowing fully well that they are completely safe, lovers of the game can finally tee off and enjoy the game.
The residents of the gated private community can vary to a great deal – there are newly married couples to elderly people to those who just come here to stay for a few days. There are well decorated and maintained common services areas like the postal mail centers, community parks benches, manicured lawns and meeting rooms. Modern and stylish homes are a predominant feature in these communities, and in many cases they are located close to a golf course.
